The Oak Lodge History Detectives (OLHD) is proud to co-host the unveiling of a bronze plaque commemorating the 80th anniversary of The Lair Bar & Grill on McLoughlin Blvd.
Originally constructed in 1946 and starting its life as the Viking Inn, the building was constructed using a unique, patented log cabin design by Robert Jonsrud of Sandy, Oregon.
To celebrate the building’s 80th year and the longevity of the tavern there will be an unveiling of the plaque along with remarks by current owner Mark Rourke and historical quips by former owner Pete Magnuson.
