Covell Plat Dedicated
Carved out of part of the Roethe farm Covell was platted by Simeon H. Covell & wife, and David N. Smith. The subdivision never incorporated.
Covell Dedicated 1908
Platted by Simeon Covell and David Smith this subdivision was located on land once part of the Roethe farm. It stretched from east of today’s McLoughlin Blvd to River Rd. and overlapped today’s Roethe Rd. Plat dedicated Mar. 23, 1908.
First Addition to Jennings Lodge 1906
The First Addition to Jennings Lodge is platted by William B. & Emma Jennings, and John F. & Willa Jennings – sons of Berryman and Martha Jennings. Block 57 is set aside “for school purposes”.

Oak Grove Established 1890
The Oak Grove town site was first platted in 1890 from the original Creighton and Crow donation land claims (DLCs) of the 1840s and 1850s.
River Road Surveyed 1856
The survey of “Territorial Road 10”, today’s River Rd., was conducted by Joseph A. Pownall for Clackamas Co. in 1856. The survey pinpointed the exact location of the first school in Oak Lodge. Recorded Sept. 1, 1856
