Amidst OLHD’s archives is a Swiss holiday greeting card, courtesy of our very own Naef family. Headed by John Jacob Naef , the Naef’s immigrated from Zurich, Switzerland in 1887 and purchased 100 acres in Oak Grove, establishing a dairy farm on today’s Naef Rd. After 137 years in the Oak Lodge community there are still Naef descendants living here. OLHD is grateful to them for having provided us a treasure trove of historical information about our community.
